Millions of American households receiving Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits—commonly known as food stamps—may see funds added to their Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) cards between August 10 and August 16, 2026.
Unlike programs with fixed nationwide delivery dates, SNAP payments are managed individually by each state. States typically space out payouts over the month using identifying information such as case numbers, Social Security numbers, or the cardholder's last name.
States Issuing Payments This Week
- Maine: Distributing benefits from August 10 through August 14.
- South Dakota: Releasing August payments on August 10.
- Utah: Scheduling deposits on August 11 and August 15.
- Arizona, Arkansas, and Connecticut: Continuing benefit distributions through August 13.
- Massachusetts and Pennsylvania: Concluding their August payout schedule on August 14.
- Wisconsin: Distributing payments through August 15.
Additional states with active payment windows extending past August 10 include Alabama, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, New Mexico, North Carolina, Ohio, Puerto Rico, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Washington.
Later Distribution Dates
If your funds have not arrived this week, it does not necessarily mean there is an issue with your account. Several states stretch their payout schedules into the second half of the month:- Missouri: Continues distributions through August 22.
- Alabama, Delaware, Georgia, Indiana, Louisiana, and Maryland: Issue benefits through August 23.
- Florida and Texas: Have the longest payout periods, extending through August 28.
